Halal-Friendly Senior Community Center of Elizabeth Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit currently developing inclusive senior wellness, nutrition, and social engagement programs for older adults in Elizabeth, New Jersey. We are currently in the planning phase, building a community-centered senior wellness program that promotes social connection, access to nutritious meals, and overall wellbeing. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where older adults feel respected, supported, and connected.
While our programs are inclusive and open to all seniors, we are intentionally incorporating culturally responsive elements, including halal meal options, to ensure equitable access for underserved communities.

Assistance navigating benefits, housing, and social services, with multilingual and culturally sensitive support for seniors.
Planned transportation support to help seniors access the center, subject to funding and program approval.
